Jimmy Goolsby, AIF® 

As a native of Atlanta, Georgia, Jimmy Goolsby, AIF® , Founder and President, is a rare breed – there aren’t too many around these days in the metro area. He brings a combination of 35 years’ experience and passion to bear on behalf of his clients.

Jimmy began his career in investments in the 1980s. This long-term experience is of great advantage to those who work with him. He has experienced – together with his clients – the full circle of life cycles and investment cycles. He has learned what works for his clients and their investments through real time and in real life.

He is passionate about his clients’ interests first and them achieving their life aspirations and goals. Jimmy is equally as fervent about investments and the markets in the context of what is best for every person and family he works with.

Andrea Barber
Client Services Manager

Andrea has extensive experience in working with financial advisors as a wealth management assistant defines the way she approaches her role in advisor support, guiding clients every step of their journey, from creating paperwork for new accounts to fortifying client relations. In her relationships with clients, she goes above and beyond simply addressing their planning and account needs. They share their lives and family stories with her. Andrea is also responsible for coordinating and tracking client transactions and assisting in the management of day-to-day business and investment needs. Andrea loves the outdoors and spending time with her family – going to lakes in the summer and enjoying the simple life.

Paragon Wealth Counselors can best express what it is by telling you what it isn’t. We are not a “cookie-cutter” financial advising firm. Paragon doesn’t provide you a plan that is filed away and revisited annually at most. Instead, Paragon provides Investment counseling around your priorities and the ongoing dynamics of real life. The source of our expertise is drawn from the many years of the life and financial experiences lived alongside our clients – from day to day. When we say we are a “just a telephone call away,” we do so sincerely. We want our communication with you to be like a trusted friend who is always available, honest and candid.
